so far we have planned to:

1. Starting to allow anyone to upload any sort of local event regardless of music being involved (protests, art shows, comedy, etc)
2. Front page and Explore page will have a 'Releases' section that bands can contribute to. Bands will be able to fill out a form about their new music release and then have it features on our socials and front page here.
3. Give bands the ability to upload a song to be featured on their band page. (This will take a while to figure out effectively)

What other ideas do you guys have?

You guys could add a number in the top right of each forum topic that indicates how many posts are in a topic. And for a stupid idea: a react button on each post, but maybe some of the emote reactions are related to things in Omaha. The West Maple Omaha Rock would be pretty goofy, for example.

Perhaps email notifications on new (verified) events? Like once per day in a batch job
